Abstract

At present most health and social care systems do not have extendable trust and governance. This presentation outlines the safi.re architecture which uses three main components: a trust framework; governance rules; and strong access controls. The system is currently being applied into one of the TSB-funded DALLAS communities in the UK, and aims to provide a robust, scaleable and secure infrastructure for health care access. It includes the integration of a wide range of identity and attribute providers, including miiCard, and defines how they are used to define the trust requirements for a wide range of health and social care services. The presentation will also outline how the eco-System can be scaled to provide access to information from other domains, with an overall the aim of providing holistic care infrastructure, with a strong focus on integrated trust and governance.
