Craig McMillan is currently working towards a PhD about a framework for the parallelization of neural networks within the Centre for Algorithms, Visualisation and Evolving Systems, under the supervision of Professor Emma Hart and Dr Kevin Chalmers. 

Craig graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a BSc in Games Development where his thesis looked at a comparison of pathfinding algorithms using the GPGPU and was supported by the NVidia Corporation. 

His research interests lie in the areas of GPU, parallelism and machine learning.
