Omair Uthmani is a Research Fellow at Edinburgh Napier University and co-investigator on the Scottish Enterprise proof-of-concept project, safi.re. His PhD, funded by the Scottish Institute for Policing Research (SIPR), focused on the secure and auditable sharing of information between the Police and their community partner organisations, which has led to the current safi.re project. Omair’s research interests include Information Sharing and Information Flows; Data Security; Identity and Privacy in the Digital Age; Quantum Linguistics and Information Supply-Chains.
