The safi.re team will exhibit its novel governance product at EIE 2013 on 9 May 2013 at the Assembly Rooms on George Street, Edinburgh. At present safi.re focuses on providing trust and governance applied to data access, and is being trialled with a number of projects.

IIDI research related to the sa.fire project has contributed to a new white paper on creating trusted data governance across domains and sectors. The paper is published by miiCard, an innovative Scottish-based company, which specialises in highly trusted identity provision.

Online identity verification company miiCard has announced that it will verify digital identities for IIDI-developed online healthcare and childcare protection initiatives. IIDI will use miiCard’s Level of Assurance 3 (LOA3) identity-proofing service to safeguard sensitive healthcare and user data.
