FOCAS project featured in EU FET newsletter

The results from the recently finished FOCAS project were highlighted in the FET newsletter, released on 27/6/16.

The news article highlighted the main outputs of the project which coordinated a network of researchers working in the field of Collective Adaptive Systems (CAS)  including 
The video was produced during an intensive 2 day "Video Sprint" at Edinburgh University by ENU staff and students, with participants from across Europe representing the 7 projects funded under the FOCAS initiative.

FOCAS
FOCAS is a coordination action in the area of collective adaptive systems. It provides increased visibility to the research carried out by projects funded by the FOCAS FET Proactive Initiative and others in research fields related to collective adaptive systems.
Bio-inspired Computing
The Bio-Inspired Algorithms group within the Centre for Algorithms, Visualisation and Evolving Systems is a large and thriving group with interests in nature-inspired computing that include Evolutionary Computing, Hyper-Heuristics, Artificial Immune Systems and Swarm Intelligence.
