To follow up from his presentation at the IISP/CREST conference, Bill Buchanan has outlined the future changes within Cyber Security, with a focus on data analytics:

Bill outlines that graduates require key skills in understanding network traffic, and in host analysis. The skills levels are increasing and SoC (Security Operations Centre) are looking for graduates to "hit-the-ground-running". Bill also outlines the usage of SIEM and Big Data within Cyber Security.
