The MAZI project was an exhibitor at the Netfutures 2016 conference in Brussels in April. The conference, attracting over 1,000 attendees, aims to maximize competitiveness of the European technology industry. The event involved people working in Research & Innovation, Market Validation & Living Lab Research, Business Development, Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Strategy, and Policy Making. Edinburgh Napier is a partner on the MAZI project, leading one of four case studies deploying the "MAZI Toolkit", a way of building local, community wireless networks, known as MAZI Zones.
