University Research Team Analyse Heartbleed Part 2

Introduction

The Cyber Security research team within Edinburgh Napier University have been analysing the latest vulnerability caused by OpenSSL, which is the open source library that caused Heartbleed. Their findings are documented here.

Their findings are that an intruder could trick a computer into thinking that invalid digital certificates were actually valid.
