Professor to present at University of St Andrews Union Debating Society on Cyber Warfare

Prof Bill Buchanan has been invited as a guest speaker at the University of St Andrews Union Debating Society on 17 Sept 2015. The subject of the debate is:

"This House Welcomes the Rise of Cyber Warfare"

Background

The St Andrews Union is a thriving and engaging community. This will be a major event with the debating society and will be held historic Lower Parliament Hall, which was temporarily the site of the Scottish Parliament in 1685 due to an outbreak of the plague.

The society is the oldest of its kind in the English-speaking world and is consistently ranked as one of the world's best debating societies.

This presentation also aims to foster interdisciplinary engagement between students of the sciences and humanities.
