Cisco donates a highly sophisticated networking kit to our School of Computing

Last week our School of Computing has received a donation of highly sophisticated networking devices for use in teaching and research purposes by Cisco.

The donated kit worth £100,000. It will help the School of Computing in the teaching of a forthcoming postgraduate course on the Internet of Things.

The equipment will also help with future cloud computing research projects in collaboration with Cisco’s New Frontiers Development & Engineering team.
