Professors Hazel Hall and Blaise Cronin to speak at 3rd International Seminar on LIS Education and Research in Barcelona, June 2015


Professor Hazel Hall and Professor Blaise Cronin are invited speakers at the Third International Seminar on  LIS Education and Research (LIS-ER) which takes place in Barcelona on June 4-5 2015.

The seminar is organised by the Faculty of Library and Information Science at the University of Barcelona as part of its centenary celebrations with the support of the European Association for Library and Information Education and Research (EUCLID) and the Red Universitaria de centros de InformaciĆ³n y DocumentaciĆ³n (RUID). Its focus is education and research in library and information science (LIS). Hall will be speaking on the theme of challenges in LIS research, drawing on her experience of leading the implementation of the UK Library and Information Science Research Coalition between 2009 and 2012. Cronin will deliver the opening presentation entitled 'A field in flux'.
