Hazel Hall is invited speaker at ESRC conference

This week Professor Hazel Hall is presenting an invited session on using social media for impact at the Economic and Social Research Council’s (ESRC) 2014 Final Year Conference. This conference takes place on Friday 25th April 2014 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), and is hosted by the Scottish Graduate School of Social Science.

Hall will be encouraging conference delegates to consider the range of social media tools available to help increase research impact, and to share practical suggestions and recommendations on the use of social media to develop an online presence for work-related purposes, both at a personal and project level. The benefits of maintaining an online presence on particular sites will be discussed, as well as the question of distinguishing where academic researchers should be from where they could be.

For further details please see the post Using social media for impact on Hazel Hall's blog. The slides are also available on SlideShare.
