CEC win internal research funding to develop an International Optimisation Competition, in conjunction with the University of Stirling
Prof. Emma Hart and Dr Neil Urquhart have won money from an internal funding competition to develop the software and infrastructure required to run an international competition in solving real-world optimisation problems. The work will be conducted in a joint project with the University of Stirling who will develop the a dashboard for analysing performance of competitors' algorithms across a broad range of problems. The competition will be launched in September.
