The research team within IIDI focusing on Trust and Governance are pleased to announce that the spin-out was official incorporated, with investment, on Friday 17 January 2014.

It is the result of hard work on a number of research projects (especially by Dr Lu Fan, Omair Uthmani, Niall Burns, Alistair Lawson, Owen Lo, Dr Aileen Woods, Richard (Lewis/Beattie), Prof Christoph Thummler, Waleed Mohammad, Marian Dunbar, Dr Sharon McGettrick, Dr Elias Ekonomou, and others).

The main funding is from investors and also has the support of a SMART grant. The company should also be on the Scottish Enterprise High Grow pipeline.

Niall Burns is the CTO, and Derek James is the CEO, with WaleedMohammad continuing to work as a software developer.

The team are also looking for other roles, and collaboration, so any ideas for good candidates or BEng/MSc projects, please pass them on.

Dr Lu Fan will also integrate with the company as part of the development of the patent-pending technology around Binary Decision Diagrams (BDDs).

The company has great hopes on making a major impact in a range of markets. Collaboration with a range of companies has already started.
