Maja Ilievska joins the Centre for Social Informatics as summer intern

The Centre for Social Informatics has welcomed Maja Ilievska of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at
Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia as a summer intern. Maja's placement has been organised as part of the programme of the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Expertise (IAESTE).
The placement last for 6 weeks between 12th June and 20th July, during which Maja is working mainly on an
individual project related to the
DREaM and
RiLIES projects.

The broad mission of the LIS Research Coalition was to facilitate a co-ordinated and strategic approach to LIS research across the UK. Professor Hazel Hall, Director of the Centre for Social Informatics, was first seconded to lead the implementation of the LIS Research Coalition in 2009/10.
