Hazel Hall to is make a presentation as part of a panel session at
ASIS&T 2012 Baltimore in October 2012. The session is entitled "Transformation or continuity? The impact of social media on information: implications for theory and practice" and will be presented with Andrew Cox of the University of Sheffield, Helena Francke of the
University of Borås, Jutta Haider of Lund University, and Isto Huvila of Uppsala University. Hall's contribution draws on the experience of using social media to support community development within the
