Alistair Duff serves as external PhD examiner at Leeds Metropolitan University

Dr Alistair Duff examined a PhD at Leeds Metropolitan University on 20 March 2012. The candidate's work assessed government initiatives to reduce the digital divide in Sri Lanka, by means of funded tele-centres in rural areas. An original model of tele-access, based on both grounded theory data and a synthesis of previous models, was defended.
