PerAda project evaluated as excellent by European Commission following its final review

10/11/2011

The project finished on 31/06/11 and was evaluated as "Excellent: the project has fully achieved its objectives and technical goals for the period and has even exceeded expectations"

The reviewers commented: In summary, the project has done a great job during the third and final period as well as over the whole project. The PANORAMA project has played a key role in building a sense of community within the projects of the PerAda initiative and has done an excellent job of disseminating these ideas internally (among the PerAda projects) as well as externally: they have provided the first steps towards a research roadmap as well as popular text outlining a vision of Pervasive Adaptive Systems. They have organised a variety of internal and public events, have encouraged multi-disciplinary and educational activities, and have promoted European Research in pervasive, adaptive systems.

PerAda (PANORAMA)
PerAda (PANORAMA) was an EU Coordination Action coordinating research in a proactive initiative on Pervasive Adaptation. Although the project has now officially finished, the project website www.perada.eu remains an excellent resource for materials for teaching, research, and public engagement.
