Presence Research in Action, ‘Peach’, is a co-ordination action, part of the European Union’s 6th Research and Development Framework Programme in Information Systems Technologies. Peach is a project aimed at coordinating research in Presence across the EU. Presence is a multi-layered and multi-faceted concept that appears in many different disciplines from human-computer interaction, to computer science, psychology, physics, social scineces and so on. The HCI group in the Centre for Informatics Research is leading the public understanding of presence work package.
