The Astra Zeneca Interactive Collaborative Environments (ICEs)
The Business Challenge
Aware of the technological limitations of and user frustrations with many modern meeting spaces, Astra Zeneca approached Dr Oli Mival to help design and develop a range of new meeting rooms and collaboration spaces for their UK campus.
The first of these spaces went online August 2012. Based on the design philosophy behind the ICE (Interactive Collaborative Environment), the room is the first of several spaces to be implemented that deliver powerful functionality whilst maintaining simplicity and elegance of use.
When in the room people can easily, effortlessly and wirelessly share their laptop, iPhone or iPad to any of the 5 HD multitouch screens. HD videoconferencing and remote screen sharing allows collaboration from anywhere on any internet connected device enabling rapid and powerful remote and local collaboration.
Brilliant, easy to use, flexible, allows collaboration between internal/ external, display multiple info. - Astra Zeneca User Feedback Form
